This dining table is one of the finest carpentry crafts that comes out of our workshop. In the design process, there has been a lot of focus on making a beautiful solution and the result is this dining table with a unique extension system, which makes this table the best in its category.

The specially developed extension system is special because the table is just as beautiful with the extension leaves as without them. Before the planks of wood are glued, pockets are milled which later become the holes in which the extension leaves are mounted.

Description

The tabletop and the extension leaves are made from continuous planks of wood, which results in the veins being continuous throughout the table when the extension leaves are mounted. This means that we use knot-free planks in the length of the table and therefore the price is calculated based on the length of the table, including the extension leaves.

The extension leaves are mounted by inserting the iron mounting rods into the holes at the end of the tabletop, after which the extension leaves can easily be slid onto the table. During production of the table, we put magnets inside the holes for the mounting rods, to ensure that the extension leaves are securely fastened to the tabletop.

Specifications

Materials:
The tabletop and legs are made from walnut wood, and the legs are assembled with copper dowels. The extension leaves can be stored in the included holder, also made from walnut.

Size:
The size of the tabletop is customizable. Since all the tables are different, we do not have a fixed template. We measure both the width and the length from the center of the tabletop.

Minimum dimensions:
The table with extension leaves must be at least 200 cm in length, and the extension leaves at least 35 cm – which makes the table 270 cm in length when the extension leaves are mounted. For larger tables, the extension leaves can be up to 40 cm.

Thickness of the tabletop:
38 mm, made from planks with different widths, but no narrower than 10 cm.

Height:
The table measures 74 cm to the top of the tabletop. It is not possible to change the height of the table due to the precise design of the legs.

Ordering:
It is important to note that the extension system cannot be purchased after ordering, as the system is a part of the production process right from the selection of the planks for the tabletop.
