The handmade legs are of a special design, which requires a lot of craftsmanship and very high precision. This special design makes it possible for the table to only have 3 very slim legs. This particular construction gives the table the illusion that it is floating.

The dining table can be made to most measurements, and the visual expression changes depending on whether it is an elongated table or the table has a more “round” shape. Both variants have a distinctive and exclusive look, and the options for choosing the size yourself means that it fits into most types of homes.

Specifications

Materials:
The tabletop and legs are made of American walnut and are joined by copper dowels.

Size:
The tabletop is custom made, therefore we do not have a set template. We measure the length and width from the center of the tabletop.

Thickness:
The thickness of the tabletop is 38 mm
Made from planks of different widths, but no narrower than 10 cm.

Height:
The table measures 74 cm from the top of the tabletop. It is not possible to change the height of the table due to the precise design of the legs.

Minimum dimensions:
for the elongated dining table, we recommend that the size 200 x 90 cm or larger. This is due to the special construction of the legs on the dining table. For the round table we recommend at least 140 cm in diameter.

More about the dining table

The walnut dining table from Noyer is made of American walnut with beautiful copper details. The dining table is handmade at our workshop in Valby, Deand you will not find two tables which look exactly the same. The tabletop is made from beautiful planks of American walnut, which are neatly matched for the perfect look.
The tabletop is characterized by the classic Noyer design, where opposite 45-degree angles are cut to the perfect shape.
This is amongst other things what makes a dining table in walnut from Noyer a special piece of furniture. The dining table stands on three specially designed legs, which contribute to a floating and light look. The legs are made of three pieces of American walnut, which are assembled to give a conical expression and are held together by copper dowels. Together the legs and the unique tabletop make the dining table in walnut complete.

Dining table with extension leaves

The standard size of the dining table is 200 x 90 cm, but it is possible to order custom made sizes to suit the room you want the table in. The extension leaves are made from the same exact planks of wood the tabletop is made from and therefore gives your dining table a perfect look. The extension leaves are magnetically attached to the dining table. Simple and elegant when you are in need of extra space. When the extension leaves are not in use, they can be stored in the elegant holding unit which is delivered with the extension leaves.

Walnut dining table maintenance

A dining table in American walnut from Noyer is easy to keep. It is an incredibly durable table which easily handles the wear and tear of everyday use and festive events. Simply wipe the table with mild soap. If extra care is needed you can wipe it over with the included organic, cold-pressed flaxseed oil. If you don’t have it on hand, linseed oil will do the job too. The table will become more beautiful over time – but if needed the table can be sanded down and oiled and it will appear as good as new.
